Voting has been completed in all the 17 Parliamentary constituencies of Telangana for the Lok Sabha election on April 11, 2019, which was the first phase of Lok Sabha election. 62.69% voting recorded in Telangana Lok Sabha election 2019.

BJP, TRS, and INC are the main parties in the field although TRS has an alliance with AIMIM in Telangana.

Lok Sabha election 2019 is the first General election for Telangana as in 2014 general election Telangana was the part of Andhra Pradesh. As TRS got the thumping victory in Assembly election 2018 with getting 88 seats out of 119 seats TRS is hoping to get more seats in Lok Sabha election also.

Seat sharing of Parties and alliances in Telangana

TRS in fighting on 16 seats and left one seat for its alliance party AIMIM. AIMIM Chief Owaisi is contesting from Hyderabad Constituency.

Congress in fighting on all the 17 seats and TDP in not contesting Lok Sabha election 2019. Earlier in Assembly election in 2018, Congress and its alliance party TDP got a harsh defeat as they got only 21 seats together.

Congress president Rahul Gandhi and other leaders of Congress party campaigned here. On the other hand, BJP is also fighting all alone and contesting on all 17 seats.

In Assembly election, BJP got only one seat out of 119 seats. But in Lok Sabha election BJP is hoping to get some seats as Prime Minister Narendra Modi still have a winning image.

In 2014 Lok Sabha election BJP had an alliance with TDP and fought the election in United Andhra Pradesh and managed to get only 3 seats out of 42 Lok Sabha seats. Later TDP quit NDA and BJP and became supporter party of Congress.

Telangana state Lok Sabha election results are going to be very interesting, and the result of Lok Sabha election 2019 will be announced on 23rd May 2019.
