Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s Health Updates – Vajpayee Passes Away

Served 3 times as Prime Minister of India, veteran BJP Leader Atal Bihari Vajpayee was admitted in AIIMS on 11th June and was being attended to in past nine weeks. His health has deteriorated in the last 24 hours and leaders from all over the nation are arriving at Delhi to visit him in the hospital. The man is said to be on life support with the overall condition severely critical at the time.Vajpayee’s Death NewsAtal Bihari Vajpayee was a diabetic and had only one functional kidney. He suffered a stroke in 2009 that has impaired his speech. He was admitted to AIIMS in June with a Kidney Infection, Urinary tract infection, Low Urine Output and Chest Congestion. He is under the supervision of Dr. Randeep Guleria who is currently the director of AIIMS. Dr. Guleria was also the personal physician of Mr. Vajpayee for over three decades.

Prime Minister Modi had visited the hospital on Wednesday in the evening and spent close to one hour in the hospital know about the condition of the former PM. Since early morning today, 16th August 2018, leaders Rahul Gandhi, Venkaiah Naidu, Arvind Kejriwal, Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, LK Advani, Sushma Swaraj, Yogi Adityanath, etc., have visited the leader. Many other leaders like Madhya Pradesh’s CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Rajasthan’s CM Vasundhara Raje, Odisha’s CM Naveen Patnaik, etc., have started to visit the beloved leader.

The security around AIIMS has been enhanced and traffic leading to AIIMS as well as the leader’s home has been blocked. All the BJP leaders canceled all their planned endeavors to visit their leader. Students and volunteers from all over India are praying for the well being of the leader. Andhra Pradesh’s CM has expressed his grief upon hearing about the leader’s health.

The BJP leader finally succumbed to his ailments. He passed away at the age of 93 at 5:05 PM on 16th August 2018 as per the statement released by AIIMS.
