Biography of Chandra Babu Naidu – Indian Politician

The great and iconic Indian was born on April 20th, 1950 in Chittoor district within Andhra Pradesh under the care of an agricultural family. Even though there were no schools within his village, Chandra Babu Naidu recorded a unique move on education after massive struggles including walking 11 km every day until he completed his education in 1972 with BA degree.

Discussing the life of Chandra Babu Naidu without touching on Indian politics can almost be impossible. This started back in his school days where Naidu was a student leader after joining the Youth Congress and showed great support of Youth Congress president. His ability and influence saw him rise to become a member of legislative assembly of Andhra Pradesh in 1978 where he represented Chandragiri constituency.


He later rose to occupy the prime seat in the politics of India when he became Chief Minister a position, he held from 2014 in Andhra Pradesh. After the state was divided, he became the first Chief Minister. From 1994 to 2004 when the state was united under the United Andhra Pradesh, he was still the Chief Minister. Chandra Babu Naidu later continued when he was in the Legislative Assembly of United Andhra Pradesh as the opposition leader from 2004 to 2014.

His current position as the president of the Telugu Desam Party has a lot to speak about Chandra Babu Naidu. Away from his political life, there is a major contribution that Naidu has recorded including the award from the India Today where he was awarded IT Indian of the Millennium. He also goes the recognition of the business person of the year from the Economics Times together with many others that add to his contributions and politics.

His recognition and award of the IT Indian were due to the leadership and transformation he offered when he was appointed to chair National IT Panel. He brought positive influence in the panel and worked wonders by profit during his time as the chairman.
