Haryana’s Chief Minister M L Khattar stated that there is no plan to conduct the Haryana Assembly Elections and the Lok Sabha Elections together. Putting an end to the speculations that the elections will be held together with the upcoming Haryana elections 2019, Khattar cleared the air stating that “Vidhan Sabha elections will be held on time and the state assembly elections would be held at the end of the tenure”. The Haryana assembly polls are due in October next year.
Exuding confidence over BJP’s victory in both the Haryana elections results 2019, Khattar stated that “The BJP government has taken various initiatives to ensure the development in the state. We have done a lot of work in the right direction and we will continue to do so in our second tenure”.
While interacting with the reporters on the sidelines of Shaurya Samman – Haryana, an arrangement organized to honor the police personnel of Haryana, he stated that he had expended a significant amount of time reviewing the progress of various schemes and their execution.
He also revealed that efforts were being made to gain the Supreme Court order for Early execution of the Sutlej Yamuna Link (SYL) by which Haryana could get its legitimate share of river water.
A plan was made for the setting up of Tri-City development board on par with the NCR Planning Board so that populace living in Panchkula, Mohali, and Chandigarh get better amenities. Speaking about it he said that he would take up the issue with the Home Minister and other Central Ministers to make the necessary arrangements.
He mentioned that a special emphasis is being laid on providing better-policing services in the state and that the increase of women participation in Policing has increased from 6 percent to 8 percent.
